Ideal Location- It so happens that this port is situated close to Mainland Europe with 70% of the UK population living within 120 miles. The port hosts 16 weekly freight service calls from Europe, including two daily ferries from Zeebrugge for P&O, and regular service calls from Scandinavia, Africa, and South America.
Many cruise ships dock at Tilbury, with cruise lines that offer different cruises to different international destinations. It is perhaps due to its fantastic location and history and no wonder Tilbury is now dubbed “the quay to the capital”.
