Required Documentation
To initiate the shipping process, please provide the following documents via email:
- Vehicle Registration Certificate (V5C): Or equivalent title document.
- Consignee’s Passport: A photocopy of the passport page containing personal details.
- Purchase/Sales Invoice: A detailed invoice for the vehicle.
Shipping Options
We offer weekly car shipping services from the UK to Auckland utilizing both Roll-on/Roll-off
(RoRo) and dedicated container methods. Our services accommodate a variety of vehicles,
including cars, SUVs, vans, motorhomes, and trucks.
Cost Considerations
RoRo shipping is generally more cost-effective, particularly for larger vehicles that do not fit within
container dimensions. Prices are based on the vehicle’s overall size and weight.
Roll-on/Roll-off Shipping
RoRo shipping is a secure method for transporting rolling cargo. Vehicles are securely fastened
below deck during transit.
Container Shipping
Our dedicated container shipping offers a more economical option for shipping multiple vehicles.
We provide 20ft, 40ft, and 40ft HC containers and load them weekly in Southampton or Tilbury.
Quarantine Inspections and Compliance
If you have not owned the vehicle for at least 12 months, you may be subject to duty or GST. To
comply with New Zealand standards, consider obtaining a Compliance Certificate from the vehicle
manufacturer.
All vehicles undergo a physical inspection by MAF Biosecurity New Zealand. Thoroughly clean your
vehicle before shipment, focusing on areas such as wheel arches, undercarriage, engine
